Bio

Thom VanHorn is the Vice President of Global Marketing for Application Security, Inc. He’s a proven technology industry veteran who’s worked with start-ups and Global Fortune 100 corporations to build results-oriented, bottom-line focused marketing operations.

Thom is responsible for directing worldwide Marketing efforts including the development of the organization’s go-to-market strategy, Product Marketing, Marketing Communication, Demand Generation, Public Relations and Analyst Relations programs. 
Prior to Application Security, Inc., Thom was Director of Marketing for Neteos, a CRM/ASP technology start-up, where he developed Marketing programs that resulted in Neteos’ winning four major industry awards in its first year of operations. Prior to Neteos, Thom held senior-level marketing positions with Compaq, Microcom (acquired by Compaq), Motorola, and Concord Data Systems (acquired by Memotec). 

Thom has a BA in Economics and English from Saint Olaf College and attended Boston University’s School of Management.

Interests

Modern first editions, abstract expressionist and modern art, music of all types, racquet sports, database security, risk, and compliance, the Boston Red Sox, friends and family, and my dog.
